The church of Maddalena di Silì was built in the fourteenth century, and ended up becoming a protagonist of several important events related to the history of the city of Oristano. Its single-nave building layout was characterized by a high ceiling with large beams and a wooden roof, supported by ten corbels in both human and animal shapes. These supports, which share a close resemblance with those of better craftsmanship within the church of Santa Chiara in Oristano, have recently been restored and relocated to their original position, albeit at a different height.
